ESC Clermont Business School is the founder, with the University of Clermont Auvergne, of CleRMa (Clermont Research Management), the research center in management sciences on the Clermont site. ESC Clermont Business School invites applications for one position of assistant or associate professor in Quantitative Finance /Applied Statistics/ Data Science/ Machine Learning. The position is for a full-time (5 days/week), starts from September 2023, and is non-fixed term contract.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance/ Data Science/Statistics or related quantitative fields. Ph.D. students near Ph.D. completion are also invited to apply.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate their potential to publish research in peer-review academic journals and teach effectively.
The successful candidate will be asked to participate in the teaching of Business Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Applied Statistics and R / Python Programming at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both English and French, and to develop lectures in their field of expertise.
