Job description :

Member of the Board Committee, the Director of the MIM Program (5 year long integrated “Grande Ecole” Master Program) reports hierarchically to the Deputy dean of ESDES in close collaboration with the Marketing and Communication Department, the Promotion and Admissions Department (France and International), the Accreditation Department and the Business and Talent Development Department.

He/She carries out several missions:

Strategy and monitoring

  • Leads the MIM Program based on the strategy validated by the Dean
  • Represents the MIM Program internally and externally
  • Ensures the definition and monitoring of the program’s budget
  • Proposes and implements pedagogical innovations within the program
  • Is responsible for the continuous improvement of the program

 

Pedagogical coordination

  • Leads the program’s pedagogical teams (heads of year, heads of specialization, etc.)
  • Coordinates double-degrees and/or certifications and collaborates with academic partners (French and international)
  • Coordinates the delivery of the program (key events, exam boards, etc.)
  • Interacts with students and their families

 

Quality

  • Guarantees the quality of the program, in order to ensure the success and satisfaction of students and to meet the expectations of companies
  • Coordinates the implementation of the program’s quality insurance processes (validation of syllabi in cooperation with the department heads, consistency in the assignment of teachers with respect to the criteria required by national and international accreditations, consistency in the planning of courses, etc.)
  • Actively participates in the renewal of the MIM program’s accreditations and contributes to institutional accreditation processes at his/her level

 

Promotion

  • Contributes to the definition and implementation of student admission processes in cooperation with the Admissions Department
  • Actively participates in the promotion of the program and the life of the school

 

Teaching

  • Delivers courses
  • Carries out activities that allow him/her to be considered as scholarly academic according to national (CEFDG)/international standards

 

Job Details

  • Permanent full-time contract at senior management level, with a 4-month probationary period renewable once
  • Remuneration package in line with the successful applicant’s profile and experience

Profile / skills required

Person specification Profile

  • PhD in a Management related field (or Economics)
  • Significant program management experience in an accredited business school (ideally an integrated 3/5 year MIM programme or a Master level program).
  • Experience in team management
  • Knowledge of international accreditation processes such as EQUIS and AACSB
  • Fluent English
