Job description :

IÉSEG School of Management invites applications for adjunct positions to teach Master level courses in all areas of Finance on Paris and Lille Campus.

This job ad stays active and online all year long because the finance majors are very popular among students and we always need to open additional groups or create new courses for which we need to hire.

Profile / skills required

Job qualifications :

  • Applicants should either be PhDs in Finance, Finance PhD student (except those having an ATER contract), or Professional with experience in a higher education setting.
  • They are expected to show evidence of teaching skills and/or strong professional experience. The number of teaching hours offered can be compatible with other professional activities.
  • Applicants should be fluent in English as all courses at IÉSEG are taught in this language. Prior knowledge of French is not required.
  • The demand is for EXTENSIVE (i.e., once/twice a week) teaching on Lille and/or Paris campuses. Applicants need to be able to commute on a regular basis by car, train or public transport to the designated campus.
  • The applicant’s knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Python is a plus.

 

Adjunct professors are expected to:

  • Teach and evaluate students. This is done under the supervision of a course coordinator.
  • Help design and develop course materials related to assignments, and to exams.
  • Give regular feedback to students following quiz, presentation, or exam.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the course curriculum
