IÉSEG holds the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA & EQUIS) and is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Écoles”. The School offers Bachelor, Master and Post-Graduate Degrees as well as Executive Education programs. IÉSEG is also one of the leading French business schools in terms of research. The department of “Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Information Systems” consists of more than 20 permanent academic staff who teach and perform research in the areas of Information Systems, Law, Entrepreneurship, Innovation among others. In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a part-time Professor of Practice in LAW (Lille Campus, starting September 2025). He/She/They will be a part of the Department of “Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Information Systems”.
Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate by teaching courses in Private law, ideally in a comparative and trans-national perspective, such as Personal Data Protection, Company Law, Trademark Law, International Business Law at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs.
The position does not have a research mission, however research, in particular via case studies, is encouraged.
We are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.
We also expect evidence of a good linkage to the corporate world, in particular via the practice of a professional activity, including freelance.
Applicants should hold a PhD for a full-time position (or be close to obtaining it) and have relevant professional experience in the corporate environment.
