IPAG Business School is a French non-profit higher education institution holding the EESPIG label (Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest). It is AACSB-accredited and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) as well as the Union des Grandes Écoles Indépendantes (UGEI).
The school’s Programme Grande École (PGE) is EFMD-accredited. Both the PGE and Bachelor’s programs are officially recognized by the French State (visa and grade de master/licence). Its fully English-taught BBA program also holds State accreditation. Furthermore, IPAG has been awarded the BSIS label in recognition of its significant societal impact and institutional management.
Renowned for its research excellence, IPAG consistently ranks among the top 150–200 institutions worldwide in Economics and the top 300–400 in Business Administration (Shanghai Ranking). It stands as one of the leading French business schools regarding research output and publication quality.
The faculty is composed of approximately 50 highly qualified international permanent professors dedicated to pedagogical innovation and impact-oriented research. They actively contribute to the school’s governance and institutional promotion. IPAG currently operates across four campuses (Paris, Nice, Thionville-Luxembourg, and Abidjan), with a fifth set to open in September 2027, currently serving more than 2,000 students across a diverse range of programs from undergraduate (BTS, BBA, Bachelor) to graduate (PGE, MSc, MBA) and doctoral levels (DBA), alongside executive education.

IPAG Business School is seeking a Full Professor in Family Entrepreneurship and/or Entrepreneurial Strategy for its Nice or Paris campus. The successful candidate will lead high-impact research initiatives, contribute to the school’s knowledge dissemination strategy, and bring innovative perspectives to the curriculum.
Position Details
• Contract: Full-time or 80% (Permanent Contract / CDI).
• Start Date: Expected by September 1, 2026.
• Reporting Line: The professor will report to the Dean for Research, Dissemination & Impact, and to the Dean of Faculty.
• Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.
Requirements: We are looking for a senior academic with an international reputation who holds an HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) or equivalent, with a proven track record in doctoral supervision. The candidate must demonstrate high research productivity in both volume and quality, specifically within top-tier journals (ABS 3/4; FNEGE 1/2).
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:
• Leading and promoting Research Chairs, Centers, or Research Groups.
• Managing research teams and securing external funding (e.g., European grants, research contracts, or consultancy).
• Overseeing programs related to entrepreneurial strategy, internationalization, and the sustainability of family businesses, as well as EDI/CSR strategies within these firms.
• Organizing and chairing high-impact international conferences.
Technical Competencies & Skills:
• Full professional proficiency in English is required (French proficiency is considered an asset).
• Ability to teach in English-taught programs, particularly at the Master, Executive, and DBA levels.
• Expertise in managing research teams and programs, with additional experience in fields such as energy economics, environmental economics, and green finance being highly valued.
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to pedagogical innovation.
