About the Institution
IPAG Business School is a French non-profit higher education institution holding the EESPIG label (Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest). It is AACSB-accredited and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) as well as the Union des Grandes Écoles Indépendantes (UGEI).
The school’s Programme Grande École (PGE) is EFMD-accredited. Both the PGE and Bachelor’s programs are officially recognized by the French State (visa and grade de master/licence). Its fully English-taught BBA program also holds State accreditation. Furthermore, IPAG has been awarded the BSIS label in recognition of its significant societal impact and institutional management.

The faculty is composed of approximately 50 highly qualified international permanent professors dedicated to pedagogical innovation and impact-oriented research. They actively contribute to the school’s governance and institutional promotion. IPAG currently operates across four campuses (Paris, Nice, Thionville-Luxembourg, and Abidjan), with a fifth set to open in September 2027, currently serving more than 2,000 students across a diverse range of programs from undergraduate (BTS, BBA, Bachelor) to graduate (PGE, MSc, MBA) and doctoral levels (DBA), alongside executive education.

The department of Economy, Finance and Accounting is seeking to fill in one faculty full-time position as Assistant/Associate Professor in the field of Finance and Accounting to maintain and develop its reputation for high-quality teaching and excellence in research.
The main responsibilities include the following:
• Teaching in the School’s portfolio (in English and in French) endorsing robust and innovative pedagogy,
• Conducting high quality and impacting research and publishing in journals ranked by the FNEGE/AJG lists,
• Ability to coordinate courses,
• Engaging in research dissemination to academia and other stakeholders,
• Engage and participate in IPAG’s activities and school life and contribute to the optimization of the School’s positive social footprint.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. from a leading institution (accredited AACSB or EQUIS or ranked at the FT or in TOP 300 Shanghai ranking) and have an established record of excellence in teaching (in English and French) and research within the advertised discipline.
The applicants to Assistant/Associate position must demonstrate an effective practice of research & development operations and ideally some experience in science-business-and-society dialogue.
Position Details
• Contract: Full-time or 80% (Permanent Contract / CDI).
• Start Date: Expected by September 1, 2026.
• Reporting Line: The professor will report to the Dean of Faculty and to Dean for Research, Dissemination & Impact.
• Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.
