The University of Neuchâtel has ~4’500 students who benefit from top-level academic trainings with excellent support. It is one of the most international universities in Switzerland, with about 100 nationalities present and a quarter of students coming from abroad. Ideally located between Geneva and Zürich, in the heart of Europe, it is a perfect place to undertake high-level research in an idyllic setting between lake and mountains.
Research
• Conducting independent research projects within the chair’s key research areas with the goal of publishing research in the field’s top-tier academic journals.
• Contributing to research and scholarly activities, including research funding applications.
Teaching
• Teaching 6 ECTS per year related to (innovation) management.
• Supervising and mentoring students in their Bachelor and Master’s theses.
Administration and service
• Contributing to institutional development.
• A distinguished PhD degree in business administration or in a related discipline.
• Strong interest in our key research areas: innovation and change, innovation and sustainability, business ecosystem leadership, business and regulation, managerial and organizational cognition, organization theory, qualitative research.
• Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative empirical research methods.
• Deeply committed to conducting independent research.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an academic environment.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Teaching experience is an asset.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written). French is an asset.
• Strong publication potential (as demonstrated by publications or submitted papers).

We offer excellent conditions
• Opportunities for engagement within the international scientific community, including regular participation in international conferences.
• Engagement in high-impact research projects.
• Salary: 94’000 to 99’000 CHF (1st to 3rd year) for someone employed at 100% (~104’000 to 109’000 EUR).
• The appointment will be eq. to 60% employment with the possibility of temporary increase subject to the availability of research funding.
• Contract duration: 3 years (renewal after first and second year)
