ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of “Finance” consists of over 35 full-time academic staff who is involved in several programs, with many of them including topics related to sustainable finance, green finance or climate finance, for instance the Grande Ecole Program, the MSc in Finance, the MSc in Banking, Capital Markets and Financial Technology, the Apprenticeship program in Financial Institutions: Risk, Compliance, and Data Analytics as well as the Executive Program in Financial Management. The School provides ample resources to support a variety of research interests and activities (Business Source Complete, WRDS, CRSP, TRTH, Refinitiv Workspace, Refinitiv Tick History, Datastream and Bloomberg among others). In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a part-time Professor of Practice in Finance at the Assistant, Senior or Principal Professor level (Lille or Paris Campus, starting in September 2024). He/She/They will be a part of the Department of “Finance”. Demonstrating proven expertise in the fields of corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting, coding (preferably in Python), data analytics/visualization or Bloomberg or LSEG (formerly Refinitiv) Workspace will be considered a plus for the position.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate by teaching courses in Finance at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs.

Profil recherché / Compétences requises

We are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.

Professional experience is required in the area of Finance, as we are particularly looking for candidates who can contribute to the school’s development and its students through their professional experience.
