ESDES has been preparing students and professionals, through education and research, to create sustainable value, in order to create a responsible economy in a globalized and digital world. ESDES contributes to the emergence of a responsible economy driven by its employees, partners, alumni and students. AACSB accredited, ESDES runs three different programs Bachelor, Master in Management (EFMD accredited and ranked 78th in the Financial Times) and MSc. As part of UCLy, ESDES offers a wide range of double degrees with the Faculty of Philosophy, the faculty of Law and the Faculty of Science.

ESDES is located in two vibrant highly international cities, Lyon and Annecy. Lyon is the most attractive French metropolis at the time of the ecological transition, both for its living environment and for its economic dynamism. Annecy offers an exceptional natural environment, a privileged geographical location, and an authentic charm: Annecy is renowned for its way of life! The city is located in the heart of the Haute-Savoie region, itself at the crossroads of France, Switzerland and Italy.

The Faculty is highly qualified and international (more than 50% with about 25 nationalities). At ESDES, pedagogy and research aim to be transformative and impactful, mostly on four main areas:
