ESCE International Business School is recruiting, for its campus in Paris La Défense, an Assistant / Associate Professor in Purchasing & International Trade, working primarily on research themes aimed at addressing at least one of the four societal issues proposed below:
The proposed position is full-time (5/5ths permanent contract) and will start as of June 1st, 2025.

The School
ESCE International Business School (École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur) is a private higher educationbusiness school founded in 1968 with a strong focus on international business. Pedagogical Expectations
The candidate must demonstrate expertise and interest in pedagogical engagement and innovation, particularly in updating pedagogical content and enhancing the learning experience for students across ESCE programs. This includes online courses, Masterclasses, hybridization, design thinking, and digital learning. The successful candidate is expected to provide high-quality teaching related to their field of research, possibly in collaboration with other faculty members. The candidate must also show proficiency in digital tools, including syllabus creation and the use of digital teaching platforms. Finally, fluency in English is required.
Scientific Expectations
Beyond the scientific quality of their application, the candidate must show an interest in conducting impactful research, managing collective research projects (e.g., company chairs, European projects, funded projects), and publishing in recognized academic journals (FNEGE and AJG rankings, formerly ABS). Candidates with significant experience must hold a PhD and/or a corresponding postgraduate degree. Their research should align with the scientific focus of the Research Center.
Expected Research Output and Scholarly Contributions
The successful candidate must produce at least one scholarly contribution annually to maintain « research-active » status per CEFDG standards. Their research expertise should align with the Research Centre’s scientific priorities, ensuring consistency with pedagogical innovation initiatives.

In addition to the remuneration, bonuses may be granted for scientific publications, other intellectual contributions, pedagogical innovations, and administrative responsibilities, in accordance with the Charter of Omnes Education Research Center & Faculty.
