The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance/ Data Science/Statistics or related quantitative fields. Ph.D. students near Ph.D. completion are also invited to apply.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their potential to publish research in peer-review academic journals and teach effectively.

The successful candidate will be asked to participate in the teaching of Business Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Applied Statistics and R / Python Programming at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both English and French, and to develop lectures in their field of expertise.

Some courses that the candidate may teach are the following:

• Python for Finance and Programming in Finance
• R and Python for Business Analytics
• Machine Learning techniques applied to Finance
• Financial Modelling (Excel VBA)
• Data Analysis

As part of the Faculty, the professor will have to:

• Teaching in full-time and continuing education, both in English and French.
• Conducting research projects related to the CleRMa research areas, publishing and disseminating research results.
• Coordinating teachings in relation with permanent and affiliated professors.
• Supervising students.
• Participating to internal and external working groups (pedagogical innovation, program engineering, etc.).
• Contributing to the influence of the School.
