Accredited by the AACSB, EFMD for its Bachelor degree and AMBA, ESC Clermont Business School aims to reveal the talents and passions of a new generation of change-makers, placing people and the planet at the heart of its choices. The ESC Clermont Business School also has a continuing education activity and offshore programmes.

ESC Clermont Business School is the founder, with the University of Clermont Auvergne, of CleRMa (Clermont Research Management), the research center in management sciences on the Clermont site. The School pursues ambitious objectives of intellectual contributions oriented towards innovation in management in a sustainable perspective.

Located in the centre of Clermont-Ferrand, a student town renowned for its quality of life and its cultural and sporting dynamism, ESC Clermont Business School offers a working environment favourable to personal and professional development.

As part of its strategic plan « Reveal 2027 », ESC Clermont Business School is recruiting several teacher-researchers with proven teaching experience, an interest in pedagogical innovation and a significant publication capacity in the above-mentioned fields of competence and expertise.

Description du poste :

As part of the core faculty, the professor will have to:

  • Teaching in full-time initial and continuing education, both in English and French.
  • Conducting research projects related to the CleRMa research areas, publishing and participating to the valorisation of research results.
  • Coordinating teaching in relation with core and adjunct faculty.
  • Supervising students
  • Participating to internal and external working groups (pedagogical innovation, program engineering, etc.).
  • Contributing to the influence of the School.

The positions are full time (5 days/week), based in Clermont-Ferrand, to be started in September 2023.

The salary is to be negociated according to the profile and experience; research bonuses may be added.

In terms of working conditions, the School offers food vouchers, a sustainable mobility package, a health insurance scheme; remote working is possible (up to 2 days per week).

Profil recherché / Compétences requises

You have significant professional and academic experience and are fluent in English. You hold a PhD in Management Sciences and publish in national and international academic journals. Your interest in pedagogy and your adaptability allow you to teach to different audiences. You are close to the business world and to practitioners, with whom you know how to build relationships.

You are committed and attentive to helping students succeed. Curious, open-minded, and with an entrepreneurial temperament, you like get involved in the development and deployment of new projects, whether they are related to teaching, research, or the creation of new activities, in a collaborative spirit. You want to be part of a school with a human dimension.

You have a sense of responsibility and of common commitment, and you will be able to contribute to the School’s development and influence.

Experience in continuing education and/or consulting will be appreciated, as well as successful managerial responsibilities.
